Expanding the First Year University Program

Project Description
Objective:

To expand the Memorial University - College of the North Atlantic first year university program to include the Northern Peninsula.

Background:

Currently the College of the North Atlantic(CNA) has an agreement with MUN so that on five CNA campuses people can complete their first year of university. This provides people the opportunity to do part of their degree in their home community. However, currently the St. Anthony campus of the College of the North Atlantic is not included in this program. By expanding the first year university program to include the St. Anthony campus, more people will have the opportunity to get an education without having to travel great distances for all of it.

Roles for Memorial University:

Look at the benefits and feasibility of expanding the first year university program.

Work with the College of the North Atlantic to include the St. Anthony campus in the first year university program.
