Partnership Between the Irish Loop, Zone 20 and the International Business Community.

Project Description
Objective:

Create and develop a partnership with the Centre for International Business Studies (CIBS) to help Zone 20 further projects and market them to various groups internationally


Background:

Partnership with the international business community would be of great benefit to Zone 20 (Irish Loop Development Board) in developing several projects, such as an Irish Loop Manufacturers Business Network; furthering the region’s pending foreign direct investment strategy; and a program to welcome and integrate more immigrants to the region. In addition, it would be assist in marketing several Southern Shore tourist destinations internationally (e.g. Cape Race Heritage Area, Colony of Avalon, Holyrood Pond, etc.)

Roles for Memorial University:

The Centre for International Business Studies could partner with Zone 20 to help develop projects in the zone and market initiatives internationally.
