Tourism Traffic Study of Labrador

Project Description
Objective:

Research is needed to measure the volume of tourism traffic, program success, key travel indicators and client satisfaction

Background:

It was determined at the Harris Centre Regional Workshop in Goose Bay that a tourism traffic study would be beneficial to the region. Research needs to be carried out to survey visitors and develop visitor profiles. Follow-up surveys can measure why people travel to Labrador and tourists' satisfaction with their travels. Destination Labrador has completed a business plan for the this project and would like to carry out the surveying during peak travel season and produce a report on the findings. Funding is available.

Help from Memorial is needed to research and develop surveys, implement and complete them. Follow up services needed are an interpretation of the findings and to produce the report.
